I read the reviews on here and I understand all fo them. But I do want to stand up for the managers of the hotel. It must be very hard to work there and apologize to guests every single day for mold, bugs, no a/c, no restaurant, the poor continental breakfast, games not working, housekeeping not cleaning and all the other bull that goes on there. I will say in defense of the place that it is not the GM's fault at all....it is the owners faults. They spend no money in fixing the buildings or the ammenities there. the owners could give a crap less about that place and have been trying to sell it for 6 years now. Complaining to the hotel does no good, they know its crappy and they know the owners could care less as long as they get their cut. If you all really want to be heard about how awful this place is, try writing the owners. Don't know who the owners are??? Try Harvey Berger. Oh and the other may be a slight shock to everyone...Pat Koch. That's right, the same Pat Koch who is owner of Holiday World and prides herself on "#1 for family fun". Maybe if people actually start calling out the slumlord owners than maybe they will see how bad this place has turned. I have my own personal reason for writing this, and I hope that I maybe...just a little... helped the hotel out. The employees and managers there are good people, it's the owners that are not.
