“Worst hotel Ive seen, checked out after 10 minutes!”

On a recent trip for a concert, we had reserved a room at this Knights Inn location. The lobby was clean, but had an employee (family member) sleeping on the couch. We checked in, were sent to our room at the back part of the property (property seemed vacant) and driving up to the parking space, the property just looked deserted/run down. Every single room had a "protected by ADT" sticker on the window. Upon entering, the room was dirty. The walls and lamp shade was stained like someone sprayed soda all over. When checking the bed for bedbugs which we do with any hotel, there were none but under/behind the bed was beyond dirty with plenty of trash, and looked untouched for years. The bed sheets were not fitted. The pillows were super thin, only two on the bed, with both the bed and pillows being uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty, and was super small, with almost enough room for one person. There was a big piese of loose plywood where maybe a cabinet under the sink used to be. The TV remote did not power the TV, but did change the channels. The TV, very old had picture problems on each channel with the top quarter being scrambled but the bottom 3/4 ok, still very annoying. The floorboards were wobbly near the bed and felt like you would fall through. The only positive side to the hotel was that you could park directly in front of your room/door. This hotel is so run down and reminded us of a horror flick. After only 10 minutes in the room, we got a refund and left. This property should not be renovated, it should be torn down.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere, even sleeping in your car is better then here.

“Horrible, Dirty Place!!!!! Stay way!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2010

Had to travel to Indianapolis due to family emergency. Booked a hotel that was close to Methodist Hospital. I would rather have slept in a ditch than this hotel. It was VERY dirty!! While checking in I noticed that the lobby was not to bad. The clerk said he was giving us the BEST room. (If that was the best room I would hate to see what a bad room looked like)!! It didnt look like the floors have been vaccuumed in a year, the walls were filthy, cobwebs everywhere and old toothpaste in the sink!!! Thats just to mention some of the filth!! If it hadnt been so late when we arrived we would have left and went someplace else!! The hotel website also said it had free high speed internet, i went to the office when I was unable to get a connection I went to the office to ask what was wrong and I was told they dont have it any longer and he walked away from me!! I would NOT recommend this hotel to any one!!!!! Thank God we only had to stay there for one night!!!

“Pleasantly Surprised!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2009

The Samoyed Nationals were on the east side on Indianapolis at a conference center very close to this Knight's Inn. We read the previous reviews of this establishment and I must admit, I was quite worried. My husband went out early in the week ahead of the rest of us. The plan was that if all rang true we would find somewhere else at least before I got there with our daughter. It is almost impossible to find rooms with queen beds, and since we all are quite tall (over six feet) including our daughter) we need the queen bed for length.Pleased to say he loved it. It has a queen size bed with a bed couch, which we didn't anticipate. The room was clean and orderly as anyone would expect. The staff was helpful and accomodating. It was nice and quiet...restful after our long day at the dog shows. As it turned out, our time was cut short because friends of ours became quite ill and we had to drive their car back to Milwaukee. They very willingly reimbursed us for two rooms. THANK YOU, Knight's Inn for making our stay in Indianapolis so enjoyable. This was definitely worth the chance we took.

“This hotel was a slum!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2009

I have never in my life stayed in a hotel as disgusting as the Knights Inn in my life! My husband and I traveled from NC to IN for a military convention he had. We were only spending one night in Indianapolis and had to stay at this place because all of the other hotels were booked due to the large amount of people in the area for the convention. It was a horrible mistake! As soon as we walked in the room I could tell it was filthy! The room looked like it hadn't be cleaned in months. I wiped everything down with clorox wipes before I would even touch anything. I am only 21 years old and wouldn't consider myself a very picky person I don't live a luxurious life but this place truly was a dump. I honestly wanted to sleep in our car!

The room was covered in dirt and dust.
The bathroom was filthy.
The furniture was dirty.
I sat down on the edge of the bed and realized instantly that it smelled like BO. It smelled like someone sweated all over the sheets and they were never washed.
The bed spread had a huge hole burned in it.
The carpet was covered in dirt.
There were bugs behind the dresser that were the size of a mouse.
The bed didnt have a fitted sheet on it, it was only a normal bed sheet!

I walked up to office and asked the owner or manager who barely spoke english for new sheets because they smelled so bad & I refused to lay on them & he told me I could bring the sheets to the office & he would give me new ones. What kind of service is that!? I ended up sleeping in a hard dirty chair because the smell coming off the bed was so strong it kept me up!

I am not trying to be a nasty or vicious person by writing this I am only writing this because I am warning everyone PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! (especially if you have children! I would never bring a child to that place!) Go ahead and stay there if you want to bring roaches home with you or plan on contracting some nasty disease!

After we left this place we stayed at the Sleep Inn Suites and it was an amazing difference! That place was great!

“Yuck”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2008

Stayed overnight because of pending surgery the next day. I was to take a shower the day of and the water flow was barely a trickle. I doubt that I even got the antiseptic soap off my body! The bed was only half made sheets came off during the tossing and turning cause the mattress was awful. Thick dust and dirt behind the dresser! It is a wonder I did not contract an awful infection from the filth. Would not even recommend hotel for a dog much less a human!
