The room was clean, in decent shape, and relatively upscale. Not sure what the complaints are about regarding a need to update the rooms.

The front desk allowed me an early check-in and a late departure.

The breakfast buffet was above average but not outstanding. It was expensive but to be expected for a hotel of this caliber. Service was good although it did take us a long time to get our bill.

A bit surprised that a hotel of this caliber still has smoking rooms these days. Consequently, I was unable to get a king non-smoking.

I got an excellent rate. This is a good option if you have activities on the north side of Indy or can't get a room downtown. It was nice that the hotel was very close to both Castleton and Keystone Malls.

We stayed at the Hilton on Christmas night. Everyone was very friendly, especially the gal at the front desk (Kate?) The handicapped rooms were great--roll-in showers and plenty of room. It looked like they had just upgraded the rooms, but the hallways were still a bit dingy--clean, but old looking. We booked 3 rooms for the whole family and everyone said that the beds were very comfortable. Coffee in the rooms and in the lobby. Lobby was very nice. Restaurant was expensive, even for breakfast. Had a little store off to the side. Wish they would sell bagels or muffins.
Booked with priceline and got a great deal. Will be back.

The room was clean...which was wonderful. The hotel is older and needs an update to the rooms. They charge too much per night not to have renovated.

My daughter just moved to Northern Indy and we needed a place to stay close to her. This Hilton is just down the road and so close to so much shopping and restaurants it was great.
Comfy beds as always, but a little hint if you get to hot when you sleep. Take the heavy comforter off the bed and replace it with the blanket in the closet.
They have a very good breakfast that came with the room. Otherwise I would not pay $16 for it. Nice and quiet place. I didn't swim but my grandkids did. The pool looked nice.
We paid ahead and got a very good price.
