We were lucky enough to stay at the Homewood Suites during Super Bowl weekend. The hotel is clean, new and bright. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel is within walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium and all that downtown Indy has offer.

I make a few trips per year to Indianapolis and staying in hotels for a week or more at a time quickly becomes wearing. The Homewood Suites is a nice alternative, with spacious rooms (including cooking facilities if you need them, I didn't) and a simple but good light evening buffet meal weeknights.

There is a small gym and a pool, however the pool was closed for most of the time I was there.

Staff are generally pleasant, although the standard varies - some of the poorer ones could learn a lot from the better ones.

The beds are very comfortable - the best I've ever found in a hotel. This alone would make it worth returning!

Nighttime manger just shrugged his shoulders. They really don't care and i suspect that is why the rooms Are dirty and the bathrooms smell. Lots of other choices in this city that I would recommend you consider first. I checked in and promptly checked this one off my list forever.

Hotel is an old building with very tall ceilings in huge suites. Beds are comfortable. Amenities are all you could ask for and more, but what really stands out for me at this particular hotel, is the service. Top notch. No request is denied. Just a few examples. At our previous stay we were in town for a bachelorette party right after Thanksgiving, and had left over ham buns that we brought with thinking the rooms had ovens. There were only microwaves, but we called the front desk, and they sent someone up to get the sandwiches, heated them up, and then brought them back to our room. Impressive service. Another example, the only real option at this hotel is valet parking, one of our guests forgot his boots in his vehicle, and when he talked to concierge about where his car was to get them, they just went and got the boots for him, and delivered them to his room. Again, impressive level of service.

And the excellent service is offered up, one does not even need to demand it, it is freely given to each guest on every visit we have made to this hotel.

Well done Homewood Suites Indy, the friendliness of the staff is indicative of the Midwestern hospitality you will enjoy when you visit this fun little city.
