We selected this hotel as a stopover from Iowa to Florida and liked the location south of Indianapolis to start the next day. I called ahead for reservations and had trouble with communicating with the reservation clerk over the phone. I nearly missed the hotel as there is no street signage, just a small sign on a sidewall easily missed as there is a Waffle House fronting the streetside. Nevertheless, the clerk at check-in (after midnight) was efficient and courteous. unfortunately, our room quality was very poor. The wall heater did not work, the lights over the bed did not turn on, the tv did not work and the bathroom was barely a closet. The continental breakfast is far below par for today's basic hotel standards. Problems with the room were reported upon checkout and were barely acknowledged. Were we doing anything more than a six hour stop, we would not have kept the room.

Another good mark for Super 8.

The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was great. The counter by the sink was huge! My favorite amenity. The sink and toilet were also not in the same room! Another amenity I really like. The staff was also helpful, which isn't always true at budget properties.

But the best feature of this motel is the Waffle House immediately on the other side of the building. Forget the free breakfast here.

On the down side, the wireless signal is weak--though workable--on the far end of the motel.

If I go back to Indianapolis for work, I'll be returning.

Well, I'd like to be able to say that everything was great, but that just wasn't the case. The hotel is evidently under new management and being remodeled. Let's just say it is still a work in progress. The hotel staff are all very nice, but some of the amenities one expects were lacking. Such as: toilet paper, new soap (the previous guest's bar was left for us to use), facial tissues. All of these were furnished on request, but I shouldn't have had to ask.

The room was very quiet and we slept well. This place will do if you just need a place to sleep. It will probably be better once the rehab projects are finished.
