Well our night started out with the other group we were with getting there room and it had not been cleaned the bed was not made and the was garbage and dishes all over so they meet us and went to our room to wait for their new room upon entering out room we found a used "CONDOM" right i the middle of the floor. So no we had to go andget a new room ,which is when they told me i could go somewhere else if i wanted (nice buisness practice)well we ended up takeing the smoking roo because it was the only thing open get to the new room and it was dirty also garbage on the floor and dried upo yellow flem in the sink. while we where there our friends got to there room and it had no working air conditioning and no cscreen in the window so they couldnt even open it because they had a 2 and 1 year old with them. so needless to say we where very unhappy and as of now i have conmtacted management and nothing has been done

My wife and I travel twice monthly to Indianapolis. On this weekend the hotel we normally stay at, The Hampton, was fully booked. We decided to try staying here. BIG MISTAKE! This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. We reserved a room, but wanted to see it before committing. The beds were NOT made, the trash cans were still full and the carpet was still littered with the previous guests' animal crackers. We asked if we could see another room and the front desk clerk, William, informed us that the entire hotel was "about the same." We canceled our stay and were told it would not be a problem. Come to find out, they charged us anyway for the stay even though we were only at the hotel for ten minutes. I called the manager, some 21 year old twit named Nita, who refused to call me back. After calling several times daily, writing and leaving voice mails, I finally got through to her. She told me she wasn't there that evening and that I couldn't prove that I wasn't either. She told me that this was not her problem. I am going to make it her problem until I am refunded the money her company stole from me.

I needed a place to stay on our way to Bloomington IN. It was graduation weekend so the places in Bloomington were charging their highest rates so we decided to stay about 1 hr away.

I found this place located on the NE corner of Indianapolis right next to I-69 and I-465. It is also about a 1/4 mile away from Castleton Square, apparently the biggest shopping mall in Indy.

The place is quite decent, very clean and the room we had was quite spacious. It appears it has been recently renovated with new carpeting, bathroom fixtures, decoration and even a brand new shower curtain. It appears that they stopped short of a complete renovation as our king sized bed was clearly tired, the sheets were quite old, and so did the towels. Again, everything was clean but it would have been much, much nicer if they went all the way.

The hotel rate was quite a deal so I guess I can't complain too much. Overall a decent stay and will do it again if I have the need.

Again I stayed at the best western castleton inn and found their staff and facilities great. I could have gone down the road and paid $50.00 for an indoor pool but everything here was warm and welcoming. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends.
