Came to Indy to visit relatives, although there were closer hotels to their home, we opted for Drury, because we have always had good service with them in other cities.
This hotel was spotless! The floors had such a high shine to them, if the sun had been shining it would have blinded us.
We missed the Eve meal both nights, but made b'fast last morning, and it was good. Last hour of serving, and it was not crowded, and plenty of food left. Would like to see the free soda all hours instead of a time limit.
Staff were all courteous, from the maids and maintenance, to the desk clerks. The desk clerk took the time to print out directions to my relatives house. And managed to greet everyone who came thru the door, and never made me feel rushed or that I was a bother. Both ladies took great care in their appearance, and were extra personable, represented the Hotel superbly.
I'm not sure why some have complained of noise of traffic? I am a small town person, and this was just "city noise" Our room was across from a hospital, we heard sirens but they were not distracting.
I am also a smoker, and it was nice to acquire a room that allowed it, although I would reccomend Drury think about installing air cleaners like Ionic Breeze in these rooms, would have brought mine from home, if I had thought about it.
Never made it to the pool, and wish it was open at all hours, would have been nice to sit in the hot tub. Since there is no lifeguard, not sure why it closes anyway.
Planning on more frequent trips to Indy, and this is where we'll stay. And continues our positive experience with the Drury Chain, that is our choice in ANY location.
