“Great cheap hotel but watch out for the other guests!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

This hotel was close to a highway, very clean and the staff was very friendly. The only bad part is that the other guests were out of control. Last night there were 19 people in the indoor pool, 4 people in the outdoor pool and 12 people in the hot tub. There were very few parents around and the kids were out of control. The hotel rules require a parent/guardian to be in the pool area when kids are there, but the rule was not enforced.

Drury Hotels, General Manager at Drury Inn & Suites Indianapolis Northeast, responded to this review
3 February 2012
Thank you for choosing Drury Hotels! We appreciate hearing from our guests and do want to sincerely apologize that the pool area was so crowded. We do, indeed, have a policy of a parent/guardian to be in the pool area when kids are there and do our best to police this. I am sorry that on this night we failed. We certainly understand the frustration this caused and have shared your comments with our team. Your feedback will help us focus on and work to improve our services to eliminate situations like this from happening in the future. If ever during a stay at a Drury Hotel you have questions or concerns, please ask to speak to the manager on duty so we can work to fix the issue as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your business and hope you will give us additional opportunities to serve your lodging needs.

Came to Indy to visit relatives, although there were closer hotels to their home, we opted for Drury, because we have always had good service with them in other cities.
This hotel was spotless! The floors had such a high shine to them, if the sun had been shining it would have blinded us.
We missed the Eve meal both nights, but made b'fast last morning, and it was good. Last hour of serving, and it was not crowded, and plenty of food left. Would like to see the free soda all hours instead of a time limit.
Staff were all courteous, from the maids and maintenance, to the desk clerks. The desk clerk took the time to print out directions to my relatives house. And managed to greet everyone who came thru the door, and never made me feel rushed or that I was a bother. Both ladies took great care in their appearance, and were extra personable, represented the Hotel superbly.
I'm not sure why some have complained of noise of traffic? I am a small town person, and this was just "city noise" Our room was across from a hospital, we heard sirens but they were not distracting.
I am also a smoker, and it was nice to acquire a room that allowed it, although I would reccomend Drury think about installing air cleaners like Ionic Breeze in these rooms, would have brought mine from home, if I had thought about it.
Never made it to the pool, and wish it was open at all hours, would have been nice to sit in the hot tub. Since there is no lifeguard, not sure why it closes anyway.
Planning on more frequent trips to Indy, and this is where we'll stay. And continues our positive experience with the Drury Chain, that is our choice in ANY location.

Room Tip: Higher level floors, may reduce noise level from traffic. And if you are picky about noise, before b...

“GREAT STAY AT THE DRURY FOR OUR FAMILY CHRISTMAS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

We recently stayed at the Drury for our family Christmas get together (30 of us). When I spoke with the manager, Robert Allen, to get our reservations he was great to work with and very accommmodating. We could not have been happier with our stay. The employees went above and beyond to make our stay special. You can tell what kind of management they have as we had stayed there for our Christmas get together last year and many of the same employees were still working there this year. Kudos to the cleaning staff also--property was spotless. Thanks again to the staff at the Drury Inn and Suites Indianapolis Northeast--you do an awesome job!!!

Friendly service. Very clean room. Massive suite with king bed for a reasonable price. Bed was a little soft though.
