We pulled in at 4 am due to an awful experience at another nearby hotel. I explained how we were just looking for a place to sleep for a few hours after driving all day previously to visit a sick relative at Riley's Children's Hospital. While my story must have sounded riciulous at the time, the attendant at the front desk was courteous and said she would check us into a room regardless and give us a special rate because we were visiting a patient at Riley's.
The room we had was comfortable, great beds, darkening curtains, four packets of coffee (seems like too many places just give you 1 regular and 1 decaf) and surprisingly quiet for being right next to Lucas Oil Stadium. We slept well and decided to stay one more night, they set us up for the same room the following night with no trouble.
The breakfast was great. They seamlessly turn the evening bar into a nice breakfast setup in the morning. The person working the breakfast made sure to ask if there was anything else we needed. Overall it was great for being in Indianapolis for a hospital visit when things obviously aren't going well. If someone is staying there for the Super Bowl or for a Colts game, Lucas Oil is a block away so that would be very convenient.
The only downside is it is in a busy section of town so it would get a little noisy during morning traffic, but the room itself was very comfortable and quiet all things considered.
