Very nice hotel. Very warm pool, SWEET. Just drop me at the pool.

I thought the free wireless wifi was great but the staff here is what turned out to be even better for me! I stayed here recently for my sister's graduation and at the end of my stay realized I had lost a ring. This was nothing fancy and has no worth to anyone but me since I have had and worn it everyday for 8 years. I tore apart our room to find it to no avail and left. Later that week I called to check if anyone found it and they had! They even shipped it to me free of charge in a nice padded package! I received it today and it REALLY made my day. Thank you so much guys!

In addition, the beds were comfy which surprised me because I never like hotel beds. They had firm and soft pillows for each person which is different. The rooms are a good size and we didn't have any noise problems. All things that made the stay that much better!

Not having much choice in a small town, this seemed to be the best option. We were attending a funeral and were allowed to check in early, which was quite helpful. This process was efficient and pleasant. The room was clean and of average size. The bedding was comfortable with exception of the pillows. They were cheap, hard and lumpy. The room itself was okay. The furniture was a bit dated, and there was no flat screen TV. Also the wallpaper border was awful. (typical midwest decorating)
The included breakfast was good with a wide selection of cold and hot foods.
An indoor pool was enjoyed by the grandchildren.
This property is hard to find, as it is not on the street, but sets back behind several other properties.
The price of about $100.00 including AAA/Senior discount, was high for the area.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Huntington Indiana while dropping my daughters off at college. All that I can really say is that the experience was OK. It was clean and the beds were comfortable and some of the staff tried hard to meet our needs. However, there were just a few things that made you go "Huhhh?" When we arrived the entire maid staff was taking a cigerette break outside the front door of the hotel. Tacky. I received a welcome packet with one bottle of water and one granola bar. I had three in the party. (I recognize that it was a free gift but which one in my party was going to eat it.) The whirlpool jets in the SPA really didn't work and the chemicals were so powerful that they ate my swimsuite. One staff lady got a little snippy with me when I was trying to find out where the fitness room was. The hotel guest printed information stated it was next to the laundry. It wasn't. It was almost in another building. As I said, it was some of the little things that made you say, "Huhhhh?" Ok so much for the negative. The breakfast was good. There was internet and the rooms were clean and roomy. So, I will give it a three star because it was just OK.
