We stayed at this hotel when visiting the area for a dog show in Princeton.
We were give a very reasonable price of $59 a night, which I think is exceptional for the level of amenities at this hotel. It includes breakfast and also has a pool and fitness center, which is hard to find in this price range.
The hotel was clean and has large fields around it, which is nice for walking and exercising dogs.
It was very quiet, especially considering it is right on the Interstate and their there were other dogs from the show staying at the hotel.
Some of the hallways could use some updating, but other than that it seemed perfectly acceptable.
I appreciate this property accepting pets, since it is sometimes hard to find nice properties that allow dogs as guests. Ours our very well behaved and we make an extra effort to make sure they are clean and quiet when visiting hotels.
If looking for a unique place to have dinner while in Haubstadt, check into the Log Cabin Inn, which is on the other side of the main road about a mile away. Ask the hotel for directions. It's an old cabin that is said to be the oldest existing restaurant in Indiana. It was a stop off for stagecoaches and Abraham Lincoln is said to have visited there. Prices are reasonable.
There is also a steakhouse that is said to be very good in downtown Haubstadt, but we didn't get a chance to try it out.
We will probably stay at this hotel again if visiting the area for shows.
