My husband and I attended a show at the Horseshoe Casino, so we stayed here. We were pleasantly surprised! The person that checked us in was very friendly, the room was larger than expected, with a separate sitting area, and the breakfast was very good. We got down to the breakfast area last minute and there was still plenty of food, but it was initially hard to find an open table, so we almost missed it. They had waffles, biscuits and gravy, standard breads (english muffins, bagels, toast, etc.), some amazing muffins, and I think there might have been eggs, but I'm not positive. The person that checked us out was a little cold, but I didn't need her to be overly friendly. She wasn't rude, so that's fine. Housekeeping was very friendly. The one thing I would say if you are going to the casino is to ask for specific directions off Corinne Drive. The person that checked us in said how easy it was from Indianapolis Blvd., but since we didn't know the area, we didn't know that meant turn left on Corinne Drive, so we almost didn't make it to the show on time, because we got lost. If you know where you are going, it's so easy, and I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to the Casino. Only real negative is that the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it definitely wasn't the worst I've been in either.
