The outside is about what they all look like - a big box. Entering the lobby is when you get an idea about this property. The Welcome mat heavily soiled from years of use, the elevator smeared with hand prints, and looking like it hasn't been cleaned in a couple months. The room door handle loose and the key card not functioning correctly the first time. The room furniture from the 80's, fridge in room which is nice except it "clunks" every few minutes all night. Bathroom clean I guess but the tile so old that how do you really make it look clean? I saw some other rooms as I was there with a group, same deal. Holes in the walls, looks like the towel holder has been pulled off and reattached 4 times, with the old holes exposed. $79? I think you could do better but I don't know what else is around, so maybe that is why they can ge away with minimal maintenance?

At 1:00 am we decided to stop for the night. It was conveniently located close to I-70.

The shower curtain rod was improperly installed and did not allow the curtain to be pulled shut.

My wife thought that the refrigerator was too loud. We contemplated unplugging it.

I noticed crumbs on the nightstand when we arrived.

The kids loved the pool. It was very warm, perhaps heated?

There was inadequate seating for the continental breakfast. The breakfast food was mediocre, at best.

We were coming home from a trip to see family and I had checked out prices on the internet for different hotels in the area. When we got close, I had the wife call for reservations, the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and said they had a casino package that was even less than the internet price. The room was clean, front desk friendly, shuttle service to and from the casino quick. The only thing I didn't like about it was the smell of smoke in the non smoking section we were in. For the money I would stay here again.

Nice Inn along I-70 just East of Indianapolis. I would've rated trhe room higher, but the refrigerator made a noise that was just loud enough to wake us up through the night. I told the desk about it, but I felt that it shouldn't have been that way in the first place. Good value for the price with a light breakfast available in the morning.
