I had a good time at the Majestic Hotel. on several occasions. The roooms I had were clean, and I had a good view of the lake. On Several occasions (when I Stayed two days or more), I got a chance to meet the room attendant. She was curtious, she also got on my nerve though continually asking me if I needed anything..........plus I was sleepy.

Now as far as the casino, "I LOVE IT, and I DO WIN, not every time, but enough to keep me coming back. KEEP IN MIND, IT'S ONLY ENTERTAINMENT!. I eat at the buffet all the time, the service is great.!!, the servers are friendly!!, and I always leave a tip when I have it. Oh, and the music is going on. The only thing I can say is.........................COME ON OUT AND JOIN ME.............................SINGING, PLAYING FROM MACHINE TO MACHINE, AND RUNNING WILD, AND i HAVE NO SHAME. "MAJESTIC IS WHAT I LIKE" , AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!

The lighting around the hotel was off, they have a sign that reads "Valet Parking"; what's that it doesn't exist. Nothing has been updated from the bathroom down to the comforters.

There is only 2 elevators and 1 was working at the time, the walk to the rooms is long and the lighting is dim. There are multiple stains on the carpets, water stains on the walls and ceilings, drywall peelings, cigarette burns in the shower curtains and chairs in the rooms(i'm sorry I didnt have a camera) and a mildew smell in the halls.

I will say this, if you complain they will move you to a room and say that its an upgrade, NOT!!!! One more important thing, after watching a program on CNN about cleaniness of Hotel Rooms I wanted to make some coffee and noticed that a cup had lipstick and coffee residue and yet it was ready for the next hotel guest!!!

There is some promise there with the Majestic Star. I have stayed at worse places, but I have stayed at better places as well. The hotel itself okay and safe, but it desperately needs some work. The AC unit in the room did not work and many fixtures were broken. Still, at least it was a safe, quiet room for the night. Part of the reason could be that we were two of very few guests staying. The staff was still very cordial. The vending machines on our floor were iffy at best as well. The high speed internet was o slow I expected a guy to run out of the hotel with a file folder under his arm when I tried to send an e-mail.

this casino does not open all the table card games so you may go to play and game and its to bad for you. they have the worst customer service at the hotel and the air conditioning did not work in the room and manager said " there is nothing i can do about it" if you stay here you will not be happy.
