Connected To A Super 8...You share their pool. One person operates front desk for BOTH hotels.

Housekeeping only there during morning to clean rooms then no one else in hotel other than the one operating front desk.

Horrible smell in rooms.

Many items (vending maching, washer/dryers) not working or removed.

Roof leaking in many places.

Don't Do It! Go Elsewhere!

Very Disappointed!

The Hotel was staffed by one front desk person for two hotels. They did not use gloves to prepare or present food. The carpet was dirty and in the morning we woke to over 100 ants. When we contacted the front desk we were told that "well we sprayed that room yesterday" The manager was unavailable then unwilling to work with us and later in a letter called us lairs who were trying to get a free room. I would not stay at that hotel if It was gifted to me..... Byer beware on check in they have you sign in and will not credit you if you experience such a gross event. You have to go through other means.

I read a three year old review on this hotel and decided to post this after I stayed at this Howard Johnsons in Franklin Indiana during April 2007. I was very happy to have found this hotel in the Franklin area. When I first searched for rooms, the other hotels in the area were fully booked. I found room at this hotel for me and my co-workers. Our rooms were wonderful. I found the amenities that are standard these days were in the room and in perfect working order. The only problem I was that I had trouble working the TV remote. But I did not ask for help to fix it because I did not have much time to watch TV anyway. The room was quiet and smoke free. The bed was very comfortable. I took my own pillows but I found the hotel pillows were perfect. I had a great night’s sleep. I scrutinized some details that are notable. The calking around the shower was flawless. I even checked the vent in the ceiling and it was lint-free. Clearly this hotel is updated and very clean and an eye for detail was taken when the hotel was updated. I will be coming back to Franklin again for some work later this year and I will stay at this hotel again. Its just a few minutes from downtown Franklin. The hotel has a good breakfast bar but there is Wafflehouse just around the corner from the hotel.
