I stayed 2 nights with my 3 kids while visiting family in the area. I did experience issues reported by others: having to wait for manager to come from the Super 8 at check-in, a couple of ants in the bathroom, and some updating required. However, the price was half of the other motels in the area and I felt perfectly safe with the family. Breakfast was limited (waffle maker, 2 brands of cereal, packaged donuts, small rolls), but still sufficient. Housekeeping staff was very cordial and did their job. Only bothersome aspect was the heavy metal doors being noisy when closed down the hallway. The pool shared with Super 8 was a little bit chemically, but more than adequate (and uncrowded).
With the rooms being in the $40+ range each night compared to $80-$90 at the other places, this was a no-brainer for someone looking for a place to stay of good value if they don't mind a few minor flaws.
