This is a former Fairfield Inn, and it no longer comes close to meeting Marriott standards. It also leaves a bit to be desired by the standards Super 8 is trying to achieve. The room was all right, the only issue in the bathroom was wallpaper starting to peel. No big deal. The pool was closed, in mid-June and was green. I am not kidding. The staff did their job, but weren't very friendly or professional and the rates being sought for this property are higher than they should be for the offered product.

If all you need is a single bed, there is a rate in the Room Saver book that makes this property a good value. It is located right off of the Interstate at the Lima Road exit. I like the Baymont down the street better, and the only amenity offered here (for a much higher price) than at Baymont is the (currently closed) pool.

There are better values to be had in Fort Wayne.

Friendly staff always greets me by name. Clean rooms. New lobby with breakfast area, computer and free Wi-Fi. Swimming pool. A great deal for the price.

Stayed there in the summer, very humid and muggy summer in July.

It was a last minute trip and wanted to build on my Marriott points. Everything was booked except for the Fairfield Inn (some basketball tournament going on during this time). I checked in and felt like I was staying at a Motel 6. The room, the furniture and the lobby just felt like a motel.

They offered free wireless but it was slower than dial-up. I had bugs in the room and there was nothing else to do so I just stuck with it. If I ever return to Ft Wayne I will not be staying there again.

Not a bad hotel. The location is right against I-69 so if your room number is odd then you will be facing the freeway. Try to get the even numbered rooms. For the price? It's expensive. This is more like a $59/night hotel when I compare to what I can get around the US.
Staff is quite nice. Has a decent breakfast.
