We stayed at the Candlewood Suites when my husband met his daughter for the first time in 33 years (!!). Hotel was very accomodating in allowing us to check-in early, etc. When our ice machine did not make ice, they brought us a new tray full of ice. Very nice staff. Love the full kitchen. Will defintely stay there again.

I reserved a suite online through Priority Club for one night: Queen Bed, 2 adults. When we arrived I was informed they could not honor my reservation for the Queen Bed suite so they were giving me 2 regular rooms. The room swap made no sense but what was frustrating was the confirmation of my selected room type and their inability to honor it. Why bother to select a room type at all if they will not honor it?

Is this a problem with Priority Club or the Candlewood in Ft. Wayne.

Anyway, they said they had a queen available in a handicapped room. I looked at the room and it was dark. musty and dingy, so I canceled and moved onto the Marriott nearby.

Candle wood Suites at Fort Wayne Indiana is a perfect hotel to for Extended stay.

The rooms are perfect and have small kitchen so that you can cook if required as it is for extended stay. There is an small shop on the ground floor which is opened 24 hours and you can get things to eat from there whenever you are hungry.

There is also laundry and a gym which are again open for 24 hours, I really find it very convenient form the point of a business stay. It is also very close to a shopping mall (just walking distance) so that you can spend your weekends shopping and eating out.

Both the bedroom and living have TV's so that you can enjoy and DVD's are available on rent. Internet is also available in all the rooms and it is FREE, included in the cost of your stay which is really cool.

Then hotel staff was very friendly and I really had a nice 5 weeks stay there, would really recommend.

We stayed one night and it was fine for one night. The room was pretty basic. Clean and generic toiletries. We had to put our own pack and play crib together, but the hotel staff was great. You have a lot of choices of where to stay in Fort Wayne, but you can keep this one your list if you want a hotel that has home style feel - especially with the kitchen.
