When walking up to the house, you don't realize what an experience you will have. I was amazed by this place the minute I walked it. It is not stuffy with all the untouchable antiques but functional furniture, large crown molding, large rooms. Speaking of which, I stayed in the Van Buren. It was fantastic. I absolutely enjoyed it. The owner said it was a work in progress but it seemed perfectily done. Breakfast was unexplicable. I happened to stay here because everything else was sold out but after having eggs benedict with a twist and fresh squeezed orange juice( yes just squeezed that day), I am convinced that bed and breakfasts are the way to stay if they are all like that. I loved it. Thanks to Drea, the inn keeper, I absolutely enjoyed myself.

The Worthington Mansion is located within walking distance of the Allen County Library. A perfect place for genealogists to stay.

The mansion is beautifully decorated. The owners and staff are very friendly. Breakfast was delish!

No more hotel stays for me when in Fort Wayne.

Our overnight stay at Worthington Mansion was definitely one of the best B&B stays we have ever had. The home is lovely, the hosts are very gracious and really do go the extra mile to make sure your stay is pleasant, and the breakfast is delicious.

I just wish there was one more bathroom (there is only one -- split into a shower and water closet). And a pet peeve which is characteristic of many B&Bs: once you make your reservation, if you cancel at any time you forfeit $25 (cancelling within 7 days forfeits the entire fee).

I would very highly recommend Worthington Mansion and plan to stay there anytime I visit Fort Wayne. Don't even think of staying in a chain hotel.

We just returned from a visit to the brand new Worthington Mansion Bed & Breakfast. Business took me to Fort Wayne at the last-minute, and I was concerned that I would not find quality accommodations. What a surprise to find this lovingly restored, beautiful Inn, at an affordable price! The owners, Tony and Kenson, bent over backward to make sure my every need was met. Breakfast was fabulous, not the usual juice and bagel that is thrown out on every mid-scale hotel's continental breakfast display. These people are very cultured and were able to share some of their secret finds with me, including some fabulous shopping destinations! I was very impressed by the quality of the bed linens, including monogrammed fluffy towels and luxury bath amenities. Everything is just as it should be, from the lighting to the ambiance. Tony must have a culinary background, as he is a very skilled chef! He even made me a bag lunch with a great sandwich, fresh fruit and some sweets for the long flight back home. My first visit to the Midwest turned out to be simply marvelous because of the Worthington Mansion. I would return in a heartbeat!
