As a middle-of-the-road hotel, this hotel my needs. In town for a family reunion, we had a couple of rooms and they were consistently clean albeit very spartan (no pictures on the walls). The hotel must be relatively new. The front desk personnel were excellent! They really personify midwest hospitality....relatively young, the personnel really stood out from many in the service industry.
Breakfast was self-serve. Waffles were good but the eggs were dry mix eggs...so if that's your thing, good on you....its definitely not mine. The unlimited coffee in the hotel lobby area was surprisingly consistently fresh and hot.
I didn't use the pool but those I was with used it and they said it was clean but small.
The area in which this hotel is located has a half dozen hotels, most in the same category of Hampton thus if you have no reservations it shouldn't be a problem as you have other similar choices in the area.
Again, nothing special (outside of the personnel who were great) but nothing wrong either.
Oh, I am not sure about internet connections in the hotel but there is one computer in the lobby that can be used. unfortunately the one night I wanted to look something up a woman literally was on there 2 HOURS...and before I left to go to bed I looked over and she had papers scattered out everywhere....please, if you are in a hotel lobby and there is one computer please be courteous and don't spend hours on the computer...it may not seem like people are waiting for it but instead they aren't being rude and coming up to you and asking if you could please clean up your mess and allow others to use it...somewhat uncomfortable situation eh.
