We booked the courtyard through AAA for the Indiana Music Educators Association Conference. The rate was very good at 93.00 a night. We arrived late evening on thursday and everything was ready to go. We had originally booked king and sofa bed but were told these were full, so they gave us two queens. This was great for us!
The hotel room was very spacious and had a frig. as well as a microwave. There was a very nice glass, walk-in shower as well as a large bathroom. The room had a desk and a sitting chair. I think it had 42 inch flat screens and had every channel you could want. Very nice rooms.
The reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 was because the hotel felt very busy. I am not sure if they are used to having large groups like IMEA come in for conventions, because everything was busy. The bistro downstairs, had a 30-40 minute wait each morning, and was also a little expensive. Bagel and orange juice was 6 bucks. A little more than i expected but not too much. Champions bar and grill is also on the main floor and made for a great evening spot. Lots of tv's to watch the game lots of room. Food was great as well!
Hotel had nice indoor pool as well as workout area.
The location was great, because you didnt have to walk outside to get the convention center. If you wanted to walk outside, it was about a 25 foot walk. Very close!!!!! There is a convenient skywalk to the embasy theater as well as the convention center.
Great hotel and great location, just a little crowded. (but what do you expect with hundreds of high school kids)
