I am local and was looking for a place to have my daughters birthday party and decided to rent the Hospitality room at Don Hall's Guesthouse. I am so glad that I did! It saved me so much time from not having to clean the house before and after the guest arrive. The room was so clean and spacious. We had room 140 which was convient to the big pool, hot tub, resturaunt and even had a door strait to the parking lot. Which helped grandma tremendously! The girls had a blast and my son is already begging to have his birthday in the same room. All the staff were so nice and helpful. I love the atmosphere of the place and the food at the resturaunt was great! I will definately be going back! Thank you! Cheryl

We stayed here and just needed a good place to sleep before traveling onward. What we received was much more!

Our room was pleasant, and very convenient with doors to both the interior hallway and one to the parking lot. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a king bed that was in good condition, nice furniture that included a reclining arm chair, a dining table with 2 dining chairs, a desk, free internet connection (WiFi), a little refrigerator, and a good sized tv.

Additionally, we were provided with dinner and breakfast vouchers (dinner was for $13.50 each person and breakfast was for $4 each person). We really are not sure how this place makes money, when our total stay was $89 plus tax.

We didn't use the pool area, which looked nice, nor did we spend time in the pretty lobby area, which had a giant fireplace with an inviting fire burning and comfy looking furnishings.

We would definitely look forward to returning, either to stay or to catch a meal in the bar & grille.

I stumbled upon this hotel by accident and couldn't be more impressed. It's a simple old school hotel (real metal keys) but the rooms and service exceed almost every $300 a night hotel I've ever stayed in. I paid $79 for a two bed room which included dinner and a cook to order breakfast. For dinner I had Prime Rib and for breakfast a garden omelet. Both were unbelieveable! This hotel is simply amazing in terms of cleanliness, service, quality, and unbelievable food! This is my new weekend get away location.

We had upgraded to the king suite after seeing the rave reviews about this hotel...

Not only was the bed a killer on my back, the room furniture was beaten and was also 30 years outdated. To the night staff's credit, we were moved after asking if the lobby sofas were in better condition....however, the morning staff were mildly apologetic regarding our bleary eyes, and being short-changed vouchers for our meals (we were charged double occupancy, and were out of pocket for dinner). As frequent traveler to Fort Wayne, I am voting with my pocketbook and staying elsewhere next time. I was so surprised with our treatment after all the previous reviews, but I can say honestly that this was my worst hotel experience. Good Luck in the future Don Halls...
