This hotel is on the east side of Evansville- the area where pretty much all your chain stores are. While they are not walkable from the hotel (save for a cracker barrell and a steak joint) they are a super fast drive. The hotel is nice and pretty new. The front desk staff was very friendly and the market place prices cheap.

The housekeeping was the weak point here. They forgot to clean my room one of the days and on another day did it after 4pm. They also forgot to replace the shampoo/soap.

All in all this is a very solid hotel and a good choice if you are in the Evansville area.

Went to southern Indiana for my cousin's wedding recently and stayed at the Fairfield Inn East. I liked it so much that I ended up booking another room there for later in the week. The hotel has a great location and a relaxing atmosphere. It is very modern, clean and features a sparkling pool as well as a yummy (and free) hot breakfast. Best of all, the air conditioning worked beautifully! It was so nice to come back to an arctic room after a day spent in the sweltering heat. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this dump one time and the maid stole my computer, the manager refused to pay for the computer. The beds were hard as a rock and the room was dirty. I will never stay in another Fairfield Inn or Marriott ever again. It is not a safe place with the staff going into rooms to steal.

When travelling we are always in need of special (handicap) rooms , and this place had an adequate room on the 2nd floor.Nothing fancy or special , but OK for our needs.
From the moment we checked in we found only the most friendly people , the front desk person , the cleaning crew and the breakfast person. Well done to make us come back again ! Comfortable beds ! Everything was as clean as could be and the breakfast was attended and stocked by a friendly lady. We arrived for breakfast the last minute and were offered additional items if needed and also after clean up. Great job ! Despite ongoing inside remodeling , it was clean and quiet , that you couldn't even notice any construction.
