Coming from a girl who has stayed in a LOT of flea-bag hotels in her life, this place really and truly is a dump. Upon arrival, the lot looked so ill kept and there were zero cars in the parking lot. My boyfriend had to run inside to see if the place was even still in business. On the plus side, the rooms are fairly large and comes equipped with a mini fridge, cable tv, and a safe. However, the mattress we stayed on sagged significantly in the middle and after reading other customer reviews, I was afraid to look under the sheets. The entire room smelled of feet. The bathroom door had obviously been busted open at one point and never repaired. The shower didn't drain. The carpet had stickys spots all over it.

Worst of all were the staff. The two men I saw working the front desk were polite enough but I get the impression that the housekeeping staff all live or stay permenantly in the hotel and treat the lobby like it's thier living room. The first morning we were heading out of the hotel we witnessed two young males with no shoes on, one in sweatpants and the other in jean shorts, cleaning the kitchen area. As we were walking out of the lobby later on that evening we passed one of the same men on the public lobby computers looking as what appeared to be soft core porn. At about 5am the next morning I wandered down to the lobby to get ice (the ice machine on our floor was out of order) and the same 2 younf men along with a handful of friends were all hanging out on the couches in the lobby. At the same time a pretty rough looking man was trying to get cereal out of the breakfast stand.

Pay the extra couple of bucks a night and avoid this hotel.

I was doing a catering in Evansville and needed to stay 3 nights. The hotel was clean and the service was very good. If you just need a place to crash you cannot beat this hotel for the money.

This place is disgusting, whoever posted this place was clean lied! The service was horrible and the place was unclean! This place should be condemned! Checked out the first night even though I paid for two and went around the corner to Hampton Inn! Just to give you an idea there were pubic hairs on the toliet and yellow stains on the sheets. Please, please don't waste ur money, it's not worth a penny a night!

The location was great! Surrounded by many eating establishments within walking distance as well as many that delivered. The Inn, for being an older motel was acceptable. Yes, there was the strong odor of age and cigerette smell was strong in the hall way. Our non smoking room had no cigerette smells just the typical age smell.
The room was very large and the bathroom as well. Everything worked including the hair dryer.
Our room cam with a good size refridgerator/freezer and a microwave that we put to good use.
Our Sitzu, Bear was accepted and we were given a discount for our second night stay of $10.00 for the pet fee that we were charged for for just the one night.
They out us in a room close to the end door for easy in and out for potty breaks for Bear which we thought was a nice gesture.
The owners were on site and were quickly helpful in information on the area and great paces to tour and site see.
The (4) was given as the parking was not great for truckers and we had to work at getting our rig snuggly in a spot. Not only that but there were no laundry service or any in the the town and we looked.
We went and Toured the historical places and visited the Aztar Casino. The resturants and buffet ok. All entries of the Aztar suggested to stay away and the payouts were tight. I would have to agree with all of the other comments.
We did check out the rooms out of curiosity due to the poor reviews. For the $129.00 a night plus tax I can honestly say NOT WORTH IT. We went back to DAYS INN and paid for another night.
All in all, it was a great experience and if in Evansville again we will go back to the Days Inn.
