Four of us stayed here for one night. The price was good. The beds were comfortable and the room seemed sufficiently clean. (I did not run around in white socks to see how dirty they got.) The AC was a little noisy, but I still slept OK. The breakfast was typical of most La Quintas at which we have stayed: better than most complimentary breakfasts we've found at other budget hotels/motels, but nothing fancy. Check-in and check-out were fast. We had no need for other services. It's close to an interstate exit, but you have to drive half a mile to get to a road that gets you to the hotel entrance... an i-Phone app proved handy in helping us find it.

I had to change my hotel because of changes in my itineray. I should have spent more time looking. From my key not working, to kids running upstairs till 1AM, paper thin walls and no coffee at breakfast I have come to expect more for the price. Find another hotel.

The carpet in the room was so dirty, if you walked on the carpet in your white socks, they won't be white anymore. DIRTY! Window was foggy, and would not lock (3rd floor). Did not have extra pool towels.

I have stayed 3 times at the La Quinta and it is a nice budget hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff has been very helpful. Location is good, the continental breakfast could use a makeover but what do you expect from a budget hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Evansville, especially those in town for the University of Evansville. Stayed in the Whirlpool Suite once and it was very nice.
