I stayed here with my son recently. We had a King suite. The room was clearly remodeled recently, and other than the toilet it was done very nicely. A new toilet would go a long way in making the rooms wonderful.

Al at the front desk was just wonderful. He is very personable and made us feel very welcome.

The breakfast was just ok. I think it could be improved by adding some things like fresh fruit.

For the cost of the room, I was happy with what I got.

After researching hotels in the area and reading reviews of this hotel, I felt this stay would be worth the money. However when we arrived, the room was a king room instead of a double - for 3 people. That was easily remedied and we went to our room where we found beds with linens in complete disarray as if someone just threw the sheets and coverlet up on the bed. The room also smelled very stale. We called and got a new room. This one was a bit better but then we discovered no tv remote. Went back to the front desk for a remote and back to the room, didn't work, back to the desk again! Finally settled and then discover the bathroom quite small - almost too tight to get around the toilet area. When we asked earlier why there wasn't a chair and ottoman in thisroom like there was in the first room we had, we were told it was because that room was a suite so it appears I received a downgrade when we had to change rooms - maybe that accounts for the tight bathroom. So we are staying in the hotel tonight because it is late and we are tired of the problems but I don't believe we will stay at a Best Western again - especially this one. The one good thing was the manager tried to be as helpful as he could.

Several hours before we arrived, I called the Evansville, IN Best Western to make reservations for the night. A man identifying himself as Al took my information and was very helpful and courteous. I remarked to my husband when I got off of the phone that Al really seemed to love his job. After we arrived at hotel his service continued in the form of a great recommendation for a restaurant for dinner, his writing on my room cover the times for breakfast and a list of staff on hand, and overall wonderful service. In our opinion, Al should be highly commended for the wonderful job he did in making our stay enjoyable. We would advise anyone considering staying at you facility to show up when Al is working because he will treat you right..

I had a great help from the hotel manager, Tom, when my car ran out of gas,
while I stayed at this hotel.
He gave me a ride to one of the gas stations nearby and helped me fill up the gas in my car.
Also, I'd like to point out that the room was nice and spacious, making my stay much more enjoyable and relaxing.
I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone driving by or visiting Evansville, Indiana.
