My husband and I stayed here the Friday after Thanksgiving for a couple nights just to get away alone.
We found our room which was a king suite to be clean with a very comfortable bed. I worried about the noise out in the hall but the separate sitting area had a door you could close off in the bedroom eliminating any noise from door slams or other guests talking in the hall and we were able to sleep soundly. There were plenty of restaurants close by such as Cracker Barrel where we enjoyed breakfast. The hotel had a free breakfast but we preferred to eat out as it was crowded on Saturday morning but Sunday there were hardly any guests however we had a buffet coupon for the Casino Aztar restaurant we wanted to use. The Casino offered free entertainment which we also passed up to do some shopping. My first Black Friday to shop proved to be my last as the stores appeared to have been stripped down to the bare walls by the crowds especially ToysRus. The Ohio riverfront would have provided a nice afternoon walk had it not been raining and windy. We would stay at his hotel again.
