I felt safe staying here with my daughter-in-law and a baby. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly. Check in & out were very smooth. The Inn was right by our road through town, so there was easy access. Breakfast was more than I had expected. There was a Steak & Shake right next door so we could walk to dinner, altho there was a list at the front desk of restaurants that delivered or had discounts for Inn guests. Enjoyed the free WiFi.

This is a decent almost-budget choice for a quick overnight stay near the highway in Evansville. It's simple and plain but clean. There is a tiny workout room, but I guess that is something. Getting in and out of the hotel parking lot is a tiny bit challenging and involves driving down service roads.

We stayed here for three nights in a standard room. Our room had a terrible stench somewhere between dampness and strong cleaning products - I think it was some sort of chemical carpet cleaner (possibly because this hotel allows pets). It would hit us every time we walked in the door. The closet door had dirt and grimy handprints all over it - disgusting. The bathroom, while clean, had rusty trim around the door. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The hotel has a pool, which we used twice. The water was salty even though it was chlorinated - I'm not sure what that means. The free morning breakfast was pretty much what one would expect for a free, cheap hotel breakfast - pastries, toast, bagels, cold cereal, along with a sort-of-working waffle maker.

The only redeeming quality of the hotel was the friendly housekeeping staff and helpful front desk staff. Also, our room had a decent small refrigerator and microwave.

Visited Evansville at the last minute .Reserved two rooms at the Baymont. We were pleasantly happy with our rooms, Ours had two queen beds for 3 people. Theirs was a king room. Both rooms were very spacious, clean and up to date.The non-smoking rooms had no odor. The beds were very comfortable, We had ground floor rooms, but heard no outside noise even though the hotel is right next to the expressway. They provided plenty of food choices for a quick, good breakfast, and there were multiple restaurants for lunch/supper in the immediate area.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was easily accessible from the highway. We had no complaints.We definitely recommend the Baymont Inn in Evansville. We will be sure to use it when visiting relatives there in the future.
