We have stayed a number of times in Evansville when we visit kids at college. We stayed in a variety of places and payed all different rates. This is now our hotel! It is very nice, clean rooms, good layout and comfortable bed. Very helpful, polite staff. Happy hour too! :) I think it's just as nice as their neighboring competitors for about half the price. Can't beat that!

A great place to stay! I travel quite frequently for business. This was a refreshing stop on my route. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and breakfast was great. I follow a low carb diet so most hotels do not have much to offer. It was nice to actually be able to eat a good, free breakfast. Only draw back was a little highway noise. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Usually when we travel we try to stay near the center of the city or downtown - just to be sure we are near shopping and restaurants so we weren't sure when we saw this hotel on the map - however it was ideal for what we love. Within a mile or two I'd say is about 30-40 restaurants, some local - some chains. The mall is close, several outdoor shopping complexes filled with great stores and the hotel sits right across from a very, very scenic lake view. We were thrilled with the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the great breakfast to start our day today. The next time we are passing through the area we'll stay here again. Thanks.

We usually stay at a different hotel in Evansville on our drive from the Gulf Coast back to WI, but decided to try something different. From the info I found online, I expected it to be out in the boondocks and isolated, but actually this suburban area though is not developed as residential, there's every kind of hotel and many restaurants nearby. We did have a little difficulty finding it coming from the south. It's one of those that once you find it , you realize it was only a short way from the expressway, but you had to go in a huge loop to get to it.

It was a perfectly good Comfort Inn, we had a slight problem and she gave us a very nice upgrade which was totally unexpected. I did think the rate was a bit high for a nice, but typical hotel, but most of them in the area seemed comparably priced. We'd probably stay there again, but will also check prices at nearby hotels. We weren't aware of any traffic noise which was mentioned in a different review.
