Dreary EconoLodge, but the price is right. I stayed here in May 2010 one night, and again one night in March 2011.
Large, brooding car porch at lobby door. Interior lobby resembles a musty basement where the clutter never gets picked up. Crooked signs on the lobby walls. Stale coffee at all hours.
Flat mattress, flatter pillows. Ugly curtains.
Early-morning construction workers. Reckless youths. Unshaven drifters. Truck drivers.
This place makes an impression. But I'd rather have a bad experience than a bland one. Looking forward to crashing here again.
