We arrived early and weren't sure if we could check in early or not. The front desk person did not hesitate to give us a room, even though it was just after 12. Unfortunately, the room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed (there were crumbs all over the floor). We went right back to the front desk and were given a second room. The second room was clean. The breakfast was nice, pool and hot tub were nice as well. We had a king whirlpool room. The whirlpool tub was nice but did not fit 2 adults very comfortably. When we were checking out, the woman asked me if I had had 2 rooms. I explained that the first room we were given was dirty. She offered to comp our first night because of the dirty room. I told her that would be great. Since I booked through Expedia, however, they were not able to give me money back (they tried very hard to make it happen). They ended up sending me a free night voucher in the mail for the hotel. To me, this is absolutely going above and beyond. They have a plaque on their front desk that says 100% satisfaction or your money back, they truly run their business by that!
