For one night the hotel was okay. But the free WiFi did not work in our room. Had to use the lobby for it. Furniture in room could use some updating. It was worn. We were on the 1st floor so this could be the reason since the pool was below us.

We stayed with the team for 10 days over December and they couldnt do enough to please us. We found our every need catered for and we were made to feel welcome and part of the family.

The room was well equipped clean and comfortable and the hotel itself has a hme like charm which isnt easy to find when travelling.

Will certainly stay again next time in Elkhart and recommend very highly.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and have found that it is one of our favorite lodgings. The staff is hospitable, the price is right, the bed is comfy, and the facilities are neat and clean. They offer a full complimentary breakfast in the morning. Parking is available on site. There are restaurants within a short driving distance, and a large shopping mall only 10 minutes away. We did not use any of the other hotel facilities as we were anxious to travel on our way. Do not be afraid to stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Front Desk personnel were super nice and welcoming. I was surprised to get a call 20 minutes after I got to my room asking if everything was OK or we needed something. There was a bag with a few treats and a water bottle on the desk. Nice touch.

Location: Right off route 19. Very easy to find. There are at least 6 or 7 hotels next to it along with numerous restaurants. Walking distance: Cracker Barrel, Applebee's, Perkins, Steak & Shake. Short drive: Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Bob Evan's and others. There's also a Big K-mart you can walk to.

Breakfast: The usual fresh waffles, cereal, bread, hard boiled eggs, canadian bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice. Cold things were cold and hot things were hot. Dorothy did a great job keeping everything stocked and clean. Make sure you drop a buck or two in the tip jar (it's a foam plate actually).

Pool: Regular 3-6ft pool along with whirlpool. Room is relatively small so there's a lot of echo bouncing off the walls. Area could use better lights. If there's someone being loud it may be annoying. My wife found the water a tad cold but I think it was OK considering it was 86 degrees outside.

Exercise Room: Very small, equipment shows age but it works. Treadmill, elliptical, bicycle and weight machine. It's not Lifetime, keep that in mind.

Room: Everything was clean. The only strange thing was a stain of the wall above the TV. Bathroom was very clean. A/C was set perfectly and we didn't have to touch it. Bed was clean and comfortable, no issues here. All appliances (fridge, coffee maker, microwave) were clean and operational. TV was not flat screen (I'm just being picky). Very quiet.

Exterior: Ample and well lit parking. Nice landscaping with a water feature. Inviting. Hotels next door looked dingy in comparison to this one.
