The people may sound lovely over the phone, but that doesn't help this place. It has very small camping areas with little no absolutely no shade. A number of the spots are down and in front of the cabins, which are usually full of families drinking and fishing. They have a full view of you from their porches.
Besides that, almost the entire community of Selvin--where this is actually located--is located around or behind the "campgrounds." The thought of having my children near a gravel road that was traveled frequently wasn't very pleasant!
The price is cheap, for camping. There are reasons for that though, once you show up and realize that this place is little more than someone's large yard that has been transformed into a park-like setting.
