This Super 8 has Tripadvisor flyers distributed throughout the hotel, and also pasted on the door and wall, so since they invite a review, here it is.
Starting with the bathroom, the ceiling was cracked, the walls showed some sign of being painted, which in itself is OK, but the paint job was not great. There was paint splatter on the floor, paint on the chrome fixtures (they were not removed or masked, but the painter just tried to paint around them, without a total success). The faucet on the sink was a single handle type, and it was rotated about 90 degrees from the correct position. So the off position was to the left, hot was down, cold was up. This indicates poor maintenance procedures.
Next, the room itself. There were not enough electrical outlets. The wall switch controlled 2 outlets, including the TV. The wall switch had to be turned on before turning on the TV. The wall switch also controlled an outlet next to the bed, which had a clock-radio plugged in. So whenever you turned off the wall switch, the clock would reset to 12:00. There were 4 items plugged into the outlet behind the bed, with an adapter to add 3 items to one plugin. It had 3 lights and one clock radio plugged in.
The Continental breakfast consisted of muffins, Danish (plastic wrapped), coffee, and orange juice (a small container which was empty when I went for my breakfast, and nearly empty later in the morning when I checked out). They seem to just put out a few muffins & Danish and mix up small quantities of orange juice, and add more as they get consumed. People were coming by for breakfast, but couldn't get a good choice because the supply of juice, muffins & Danish were so limited. A sign says they are working on improving the breakfast, but I can only comment on what was available at that time.
The room itself was OK, heat & AC worked. TV was CRT (tube type, standard def) which seems so old fashioned these days.
Internet WiFi was fast with a strong signal. I've found that the Internet access at some Super 8s can be a crap shoot, so this one was a pleasant surprise.
The staff was pleasant and I would rate them as above average for Super 8.
The location is good. Easy to find, and to get in & out. McDonalds next door, Culvers just down the street. I-65 very close by.

Had a mechanical breakdown driving home to WI from FL. Stopped in at the Super 8 about 3:30 AM. Got 2 rooms for $54.99 plus tax. Rooms were not bad and price was ok. Got home to WI and looked at our credit card and was charged for 3 rooms not 2. Had to call credit card company and dispute charge which got removed. 2 weeks later, Super 8 again charged our card for another room. Had to cancel our card to stop them from making repeated charges. Donna Webb the Mgr wrote to us and apologized and offered 50% off next stay. Fat chance I would stay there again.

We have stayed at this property before and I must say WOW what a difference! We were pleasantly suprised at the great service and the cleanliness of the room. We will definitley be back again. Thank you!
