Stayed one night at this hotel. Bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Room was quiet. Temperature control for room was satisfactory. Bathroom was roomy enough. Caulking around tub, toilet, and sink was not professionally neat, but rather more like what I would do; a little sloppy. Breakfast was not free, though I was given a gratis card good for two breakfasts. Coffee was acceptable, though not great. Breakfast selection was limited, though satisfactory.

We have stayed at this hotel for several years. It's close-by and a great escape from the Winter blues for my family. We have celebrated 3 birthday parties here & one New Year's celebration. We recently stayed here with our good friends for our annual Christmas get together. We were so disappointed this time! We were having a terrific time playing board games and our kids swimming. Then the manager approaches us and starts warning us to make sure our kids don't "horse around". I assured her out kids don't do that...she just kept going on and on. Frankly, I was offended & she was very rude. Our kids hadn't even done anything. The FINAL straw was at 10:00pm ALL of the management tells EVERYONE that we need to leave and go back to our rooms! We weren't even allowed to stay in the lobby to talk! Ridiculous! We were so bummed. So be prepared to shut down your fun at 10:00pm sharp. Not worth my money...won't be returning!!! Such a shame!!!

The Holiday inn in Columbus is a terrific place to take your kids or grandchildren for a fun day in the pool. The area where the pool, pool tables, ping pong tables and hot tub is in the older part of the hotel. However although it is older it is fairly well maintained. This hotel is located right off highway 65 and is easy to get to and get out of.

The staff continually put out fresh clean pool towels and picked up the old towels as the kids would leave them. Most places you have to look for towels or ask for them. This Holiday inn certainly catered to the guests that wanted to take their kids and grandchildren for a warm pool break in the middle of winter.

The pool area was well maintained as was the hot tub. The rooms were nice and clean with a flat screen television.

Staff was attentive and friendly and the kids really had a great time going from the pool to the hot tub and to the game rooms. Everthing was located in one place and it is easy to keep track of your kids.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly - they could not do enough for us. And they were so knowledgable and proud of their town - gave us lots of good advice on how to get around and where to shop.

The resaurant was very good and the breakfasts were delicious - I especially liked the waffles which were served on the Sunday morning.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony over the countryside was lovely.

The hotel is very conveniently located near shops and a chemist as well as different eateries.
