This is the nicest Residence Inn that I have ever stayed in. There must have been a recent remodel and I like the design. The front desk staff is always cheerful and kind. It was also reasonably priced.

My husband was recently relocated to Indianapolis for work, and we stayed at this hotel for 6 weeks while we searched for a new home. The hotel was renovating towards the end of our stay, and the staff went out of their way to accomodate the guests. The hotel was clean, and the refreshed rooms were nice. The staff were very personable, and the frequent cookies at the front desk were a treat. The breakfast got old after a few weeks, but was very convenient. We enjoyed a few a weeknight socials, and the host was a really nice lady who took pride in her job! We stayed with our cat and little dog, and the cleaning staff were very accomodating. I was able to work from the hotel daily without much interruption during renovation. The laundry and fitness facilities were minimal, but convenient. Hotel made our transition to Indy and easy one!

On February 3rd, 2011, I used the Marriott website to reserve 2 rooms at this hotel for Superbowl weekend in February, 2012. These reservations were guaranteed with my Visa credit card. Many months later (in October, 2011), I received a phone call from the hotel sales manager, Scott Damore, informing me that the hotel "was in an oversold situation" and that our reservations would most likely not be honored. This unfortunate news was confirmed by Mr. Damore in a followup email in December, 2011. The hotel did offer to find rooms for us in Kokomo, Indiana, but this would require an additional 70 mile roundtrip drive each time we returned to our hotel. By the time we were notified of this "oversold situation" in October, 2011, all of the other hotels in the Indianapolis area were completely booked. We were extremely dissatisfied with this hotel's refusal to honor "guaranteed" reservations and would advise other travelers to book elsewhere when staying in the Indianapolis area.

I always enjoy staying here. Staff is friendly and rooms are spotless. They are undergoing renovation right now so there was some dust and noise but nothing that disturbed my peace and quiet. They cancelled Happy Hour and lost Wi-Fi one night because of the work being done. I mentioned it in passing to the front desk clerk on my way out and thought nothing further if it because it wasn’t a big deal to me. An hour later I got an email from the hotel apologizing for the inconvenience and awarding me additional Marriott Reward points. Now that is customer service!
