Even though they adverstise coffee makers in the rooms, and charge for them, we had no coffee maker in our room. The desk clerk said they had them but none were available. The desk clerk then refused to adjust our bill to reflect a discount for the hotel's inability to provide advertised services. We had to get on the road at 5 am before anything nearby opened - w/o coffee. He also took people ahead of us in line w/o reservations, though we had a reservation. Then he put our room on the loudest side of the hotel right next to the highway. No coffee and no sleep.

We stayed here on our way home from vacation and were not real happy. The person at the front desk was not overly friendly when we checked in. When we got to our room and opened the door it smelled (my teenage boys even smelled it and they don't always notice those things). We should have said something but since the girl at the front desk wasn't real friendly, we decided we could make due for one night. After two hours, we discovered that my son's white socks were black on the bottom. He took a shower and didn't put socks on and his feet ended up black. When leaving, we mentioned our displeasure. The two girls at the counter didn't seem to care. There was no apology. I called the manager when I got home. I never actually talked to him but we left messages. He seemed very nice and credited half our money. That helped some, however, I would never go back to this place.

We stayed here at the end of June/early July to visit family members. The hotel was very nice and pretty much affordable for the time we stayed. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We did encouter a small problem with our room on the 1st day, but was given another room immediately. Was a little noisy in the morning with the construction on the road in front of the hotel and some mornings with the cleaning staff (just make sure you put out your DO NOT DISTURB SIGN). Other than that it was a very nice stay and would stay again. Oh just a reminder...make sure you get continental breakfast early...they close promptly @ 10am.

We used the golf package combo with Eagle Creek Golf Course .. paid $138 for room and 2 rounds of golf. Caution -- check with the golf course first to see tee time availability. They had an outing scheduled the morning we wanted to play and we had to be finished by 11 am. No problem for the two of us .. started at 7am and finished 10:15.

The rooms are very well appointed with lots of pillows and nice new digital TVs. Breakfast was good and started at 6am which was good for us since we had such an early tee time. I would most definately stay here again if visiting Indy and opt for the golf package.

In regards to an previous reviewer and the softball team ... I think any hotel that plays hosts to these types of tournament teams run into the same problems of unsupervised and obnoxious kids. What can I say but where are the parents?
