“DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY HERE!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2010

We LOVED the Brookville inn! An enchanting and luxurious inn in an area with a serious lack of decent places to stay. The area is beautiful with a wonderful lake, quaint towns, rolling hills, great antiquing, world-class fried chicken, it's not far from charming Oxford Ohio and is an easy drive to the sites of Cincinnati, but for so many years simply didn't have a really nice place to stay. That is no longer the case. Our room was gorgeous and expansive, the common rooms are stunning, especially the parlor room with plush and comfortable chairs where guests can enjoy a nightcap in the comfort of this victorian gem. Breakfast was terrific, we had a great casserole with hot biscuits and tasty fruit, and the hosts were absolutely charming. If you're in the area, LOOK NO FURTHER, this place is the best.

“WOW! We loved The Brookville Inn!"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2009

A fabulously beautiful bed and breakfast located in quiet and very quaint Brookville, Indiana is a gem! The Abbotts are the model innkeepers! Their home is immaculate and their service was outstanding. We loved The Brookville Inn!

“Comfort in Brookville”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2008

Our group of four couples very much enjoyed our weekend at Brookville Inn, a beautifully renovated old charmer, now with modern but character-filled bathrooms and lovely, immaculately clean and comfortable guestrooms. The buffet breakfasts with hot entrees were tasty and filling, the snack/refreshment area was much appreciated, and the gathering area was comfortable and lovely to look at. As a fellow B&B owner, I highly recommend the Brookville Inn.

This is the second time I"ve had the pleasure of staying at the Brookville Inn. My mother and I take a trip down to historic Metamora, Indiana and the Brookville Inn is about a 10 minute drive away. This place is fantastic! The owners are super. They cater to your every desire. I can't think of a single thing they don't provide for from snacks, beverages, DVD library for your DVD player in your room, gorgeously decorated rooms, and wonderful breakfasts. I highly recommend reserving a meal at the Rileybrook Hall while you are down in Brookville, which the owners will be happy to help you with! Just a great place, especially at Christmas time!

“Escape to the Brookville Inn”

Because I live in the 4th largest city in the US, the Brookville Inn was exactly what I needed to soothe my soul! It is a beautiful, newly renovated B&B in the picturesque and quaint midwestern town of Brookville, Indiana. My room was beautifully decorated with my own large, private bath. There was a beautiful parlor for visiting with other guests or people in your party as well as a lovely outdoor porch. The Indiana summer weather made the porch very inviting! Keith and Taya, the owners, provided a wonderful breakfast every morning with something new and delicious every day. Keith made an egg casserole that was out of this world! I had to get the recipe it was so good. Coming from such a large city, I was so suprised at what all the lovely town of Brookville (population 2000) had to offer....a beautiful lake, restaurants, a park within walking distance and there was even a movie theater and bowling if you so desired. The location of the town is only a short drive away from some larger midwest cities, but I was there for the rest and relaxation and preferred to stay close to "home", which is how I felt staying in the Brookville Inn. I can't wait to go back again.
