The room smelled smoky and of cheap cleaning products! Kinda like dollar-store-sol ashtray? You know the knock-off brand at the dollar store. The one that you want to buy all the time, but you don't know if it actually cleans anything or maybe it just covers it up with cheap scent? So the room I stayed in didn't have a working phone. The pillows are stained and do not actually function as pillows anymore. And the when the heater turned on it would also turn the A/C on too, which means that in no time the humidity of the room will drop into the single desert-like digits, and your nose will thank you by letting blood. Bathroom didn't have much water pressure... There were stains on the bed sheets. The bathroom did not look clean. Tub was stained. Carpets filthy, don't walk on them with bare feet. Wallpaper falling off walls in 7 locations in room. Door was not aligned with door jamb of room, had to slam closed and brace foot against wall to open. The door lock screws were falling out after two open/closes. Which could have resulted in the door jamming shut, and the windows do not open. The parking lot could give you a flat tire if you arn't lucky enough to dodge the 40 potholes I witnessed in it. Hotel staff are teenagers and don't drive so they are not much help to out of towners that want to go eat somewhere or do anything touristy in town... Room phone did not work... But I do like the layout of the property and it certainly has potential. I'd stay here again if the room costed me 30bux, out the door. On a positive note, the mattresses are comfy and I got a great nights sleep.
