The hotel is out on 46W on the outskirts of the city. Comfort Inn has competitive rates compared to Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn nearby, and other hotels closer to the center. Of course, since Bloomington is small the hotel is really only 10 minutes from the center of town.
Rooms are large and comfortable, some rooms have small refrigerators. Breakfast is included but is about as poor quality as the breakfasts offered at the other hotels: instant cereal, waffles, bananas, English muffins and not very good bagels, eggs seem to be from a mix, sausage less than appealing. There is no elevator in this hotel and most rooms are on second floor.

Thank you for posting your comments after your recent stay with us. We were pleased that you found the location to be convenient, the rooms comfortable and the rates to be competitive in the area. I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your breakfast, we try to offer a variety of options while staying within the Choice hotels guidelines, to include real eggs, fresh fruit and freshly made waffles.
We are a three story hotel, with guest rooms on all three floors which can be accessed by the elevator located just outside the lobby. Our location, just 2 miles from downtown and less than 2 miles from the university is ideal for both leisure and business travelers alike.
We hope to see you again should your travels bring you back to the Bloomington area.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Edwards
