I have had terrible luck with priceline. I think the last 3 hotels I have only gotten one bed for bids I have won through them. As far as this place goes it was fine. I stayed 2 nights. I have 2 children and myself so having 3 people in a queen bed isn't the most comfortable but I only paid 25 a night on priceline. The tv is good has 2 showtime channels and the kitchenette was nice with the full fridge and stovetop. I actually enjoyed not being bothered by the maids and or maid carts which are generally all over the place when you stay in a hotel. There is no maid service unless you stay a week here. The room was overall clean. It wasn't sparkling clean but good enough. We enjoyed our stay here despite not having 2 beds. The front desk is nice and it served its purpose for us.

I have stayed here a few times, it is a very good value for what you get, it has a stove, access to a washer and dryer for a low price.. the staff is very friendly and there are tons of resturants around to choose from. i say if your not looking to spend a lot of money and want to get your money worth this is the place to stay. no complaints...

We arrived at this hotel after our GPS system gave us a rundown of the hotels in the area. One thing I can say, the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and I certainly appreciated it. We had traveled to Chicago after being on the road for two days and were unable to book a hotel in advance. This place was just okay. I would not recommend it. After we checked in, while getting our bags out of the car, the front lobby doors did not open automatically. That is totally unacceptable. To push a large luggage carrier with all your stuff, plus have to open the door, very akward. The room itself was adequate, but it was not clean. The entire place/facility had a strong odor of stinky food and the smell lingered the entire time. The room was okay, we liked the kitchenette, but only stayed one night. They were stray hairs everywhere in the bathroom and just did not feel clean. Because we checked in so late and were very tired, had no energy to complain. Only had one face cloth in the bathroom, but I had came prepared with my own towels. The air conditioning was not quite working right, so I went to turn off and open window and noticed the screen was not in. On the way in the room, noticed a screen, so went to retrieve it and saw that it was bent and broken. Since we were on 2nd floor, had to close window and put AC back on and continue smelling stinky food. There was a plunger in the bathroom, which lead me to think that they had a problem with plumbing. Room was not entirely clean. The front desk staff was very helpful and efficient and kind, however, I would not stay there again.

This hotel was recommended to my husband so we made our reservations for 2 nights, but barely stayed one. The room at the Homestead Studio Suites was filthy and the plumbing fixtures were barely in working condition. Countertops were not wiped down, left sticky and full of crumbs. I had to buy disinfecting wipes to sanitize what I could. When I went to make a cup of coffee, the coffee cup was stuck to the shelf in the cabinet, with coffee residue crusted to the inside. Cobwebs and dust balls clung to the corners of the walls in the bathroom. The bathtub did not drain and the toilet repeatedly clogged. Management must have known of this problem being that there was a plunger under the sink. The shower head was encrusted with mildew. The water from the bathroom faucet flowed down the side of the sink in a manner prohibiting one from being able to put his or her hands under the water. The carpet throughout the room was torn and stained and the walls were cracked. The steps at the north entrance were covered with days old ice. My husband and I relocated to the Hilton in Lisle, which was excellent! Currently, I am requesting a refund of $71 for the one night that we stayed in these horrendous conditions...we will see if the company tries to rectify the situation.
