Very outdated with a smokey smell that lingers in the building. Front desk folks had no customer service skills. They check you in and check you out and that is all.
Once in the room itself, when I was plugging in my phone charger into the outlet, the outlet had a lot of give. There seemed to be a lot of stains on the walls and while there was a nice thermostat on the wall it didn't work. Took me a while to figure out the heat had to be turned on from the floor unit under the window. Bed was way too low to the ground and couch was just kind of gross to sit on. This part might seem petty but in the bathroom sink, the faucet was barely 4 inches long. You seriously could not wash your hands properly in there. And I don't have big hands!
I only stayed here because it was very close to the business I had to go to that week. Next time in Westmont I will make the drive to go somewhere else. I cannot stay here again.

this place was horrible , upon arrival this placed smelled horrible and front desk had a dont care attitude about the place , after entering my room i notice that the guest phone in my room didnt worked so therefore i had to walk back to the front desk to inform her of my phone not working in my room , she never asked me if i wante to change rooms to make me more comfortable for the evening ,just stated that it should be working and as it wasent her fault thats its not working wasent trying at all to make the customer happy by switching me to another room neverthless that would have been an inconvience to me , and also to someone else that would become ill and unable to leave the room and call for help.. i highly would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of its inconvience and smell and dont care attitude..

The guy named Tedd at reception doesn't know how to talk to customers. Even the manager is not customer oriented. These people are not customer friendly.

Good hotel for a solo traveler.
The cleaning ladies are very impersonal and dont speak english. Overall, the service is pretty accomodating though...it is run by eastern europeans and most of the employees, including the maid and maintenance man, are eastern european...
It's close to the Westmont, Hinsdale, and West Hinsdale train stations, where u can take Metra to Chicago.
There will always be some problem with the room, whether not clean enough, or something malfunctioning....but they are good about taking care of it the next day...
Lot of restaurants on Ogden Ave. nearby, such as Major, Emmy's, Omega, and Rosati's Pizza.
If you need a long-term stay, you can get a good price.
