Stayed here on Dec 28th, great staff, friendly service. We stay here when traveling through IL. I drove 2 extra hours just to get a good night sleep here. Love this place and really worth the $56 plus tax. Can't beat the price for such a great room.

I absolutely love this hotel and the people working there. The rooms are nice, the staff extremely friendly, AND they're a very pet friendly hotel too, with a very, very large grassy field (which is important to me having 3 dogs). Every time we call they know which room to give us and even know who I am when they answer the phone, lol I also love the Chuckwagon restaurant, which is almost right next to the hotel. I look forward to seeing the staff every time we come through.

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Vandalia IL. COnvenient location and parking for a car trailer with truck. Clean rooms, and the best front desk person working that I have ever encountered. Tim the front desk clerk was so helpful with my computer problems, that he took over an hour to help me with the server problem I was having with my company laptop. Very knowledgable in local attractions also. I would definately stop again because of the outstanding customer service that I received.....

We have stayed here a couple times in our regular road travel between Maryland and Colorado. This place just has a down home friendly feel with long-serving employees. Rooms are not fancy but clean and well equipped with free wifi. When we arrived there once the lions club was coming out of the attached restaurant and every 70+ gentleman stopped at the car window to speak to my wife and say hello to our dog as I checked in. That's the feel of this place. And there is a HUGE grassy area next to the parking lot where you can excercise your dog. This is a pretty quiet exit and the hotel does not get much highway noise, so very safe to have the dog off lead if you are comfortable doing it.
