I was thoroughly disgusted and grossed out with the conditions of the rooms. We'd rented a total of two suites for two nights. Our first impression when entering the rooms for the first time was, utter disgust. The first suite had some sort of white stains all over the couch and it appeared to be lop sided and the wallpaper was peeling. The second had a vomiting, mildewy smell that met you at the entrance, and the room was filthy. We'd immediately gone to the front desk and explained to them the fowl order that was coming from the room and explained to them that no human being could stay in a room that smelled and looked the way that it did. The manager at the front desk stated that she was aware of the conditions of the rooms and that it was something that she'd relayed to corporate and that the rooms are under renovation. She then went on to say that she could offer us another suite. The next suite was no better than the first one. Same smell and living conditions as the first. We then headed back down to front desk and explained the situation with that room as well. The manager recommended that we try another suite. This time, the room had no disgusting smell, but the bed was visually broken, it darn near sat on the floor. My husband and I headed back down to, yep, you guessed it, the front desk with all of our luggage and she gave us the key to one more room. By this time, we were just out done and tired from dragging our luggage from one room to the next, we could have screamed. This final and last room was even more disgusting than all the other three put together. The furniture looked like someone had sat it outside on the curb waiting for the garbage man to pick it up. The wallpaper was peeling terribly from the walls. There was this disgusting stain that ran down the side of the wall right next to the bed where we slept. We must have seen at least three large silver fish crawling up the walls, the carpet was filthy and the room had that incredible, horrific, odor that we smelled in the first two rooms. Now, this is the killer folks, after sitting up all night trying to figure out what that smell was and where it was coming from, we discovered the next morning that the fabric shower curtain was holding that awful odor. It had the entire room smelling unbearable. Later in the morning when the cleaning crew came around we asked them if they could change the shower curtain, to add insult to injury, one of the cleaning crew handed us the shower curtain to change ourselves. That was it. We had enough. My family and checked out of both rooms and got the heck out of there.
