If you're looking for value for your money drive a little further and stay in Springfield for half the cost for a comparable room. The people who own the hotel are lovely and the rooms are adequately clean. Pillows and towels are at a minimum and there is a musty smell noticeable when you first enter. I've stayed there a number of times and never seen a bug but the price for the room goes up and up every time. If I'm going to spend 3 figures for a room I'd like to at least have a fridge and microwave in my room in addition to the coffee maker and hair dryer. All rooms are entered from the outside and the ice machine is also accessible only by walking outside in whatever weather. I've never eaten breakfast there. The extra "security" chain lock on some rooms does not work.

“Way overpriced rooms for the lacking of quality and heavy smoking odor.”

It is better to find another place if you really do not care to smell smoke as you sleep. The upkeep is lacking and the price much too high for what you get.

“I felt the room was overpriced.”

I don't want to be negative toward the people who are trying to make a living running this Super 8; however, I think other people who work hard for their money might appreciate more than what they will receive for their money here. The room we stayed in for $72 wasn't in the same catagory as others we have stayed in for a similar price. Although older, most of the things in the room were clean. The tile flooring in the restroom and sink area needed a good scrubbing and the walls needed some attention. There were outside entrances to the rooms. It was noisy most of the night. We went out for breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Compared to other motels charging the similar prices, I would give this a 2 on a scale of 5. Sorry.
