I read reviews on here before making a reservation at this hotel, and it was what I expected from the reviews and other stays at Comfort Inns. The front desk staff was very friendly, and the hotel was quiet. There was a chlorine smell in the hall, but our room didn't smell at all. The guest room we stayed in definitely needed to be updated. There were stains on the chairs and a crack in the wall of the shower. But the room was clean. The breakfast was disappointing. There weren't a lot of choices for a healthy breakfast. There were packets of oatmeal but no microwave, just hot water to pour on it. Hard-boiled eggs and wheat toast were available, and I was glad to have some skim milk. The eating area was very nice. The lobby has a computer and printer available for use. This was a couple of blocks from Old Orchard Mall, which is an outdoor mall with a Nordstrom's, L.L. Bean, Corner Bakery, and a big Barnes & Noble, among many other stores.
