Nice Hampton close yo the airport. Rate was reasonable

we were driving back from Minnesota and Wisconsin to catch a flight out of Chicago O'Hare, when the unusually mild January weather gave way to a sudden arctic blast, bring snow, sleet and ice, so we looked a.s.a.p. for an overnight stop near the airport (we had previously used the Best Western, which is cheap but not very cheerful); the Hampton Inn had good reviews from trip advisor and they are definitely justified. We booked online and arrived early - 10 am - expecting a long-ish wait for a room, but we were accommodated straightaway. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished; staff all very pleasant and efficient; good breakfast (hot); ample parking; easy short drive to O'Hare. All for $145 with tax.

Needed a hotel by the airport as we were flying out early the next morning. Clean rooms, great staff, great continental breakfast - waffles, etc. Has Thrifty rent a car next door so they shuttle you to and fro from the airport. We had to bring our car back (not thrify) and the hotel told us what to do. They even have shuttles for restaurants arranged with the hotels. Just nice, clean and the front desk gave me a good rate. $90 for 1 night. Great business center to help print boarding passes, etc.

Very nice, clean hotel. Front desk people were very nice. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.
