The hotel is beautiful, we just had our wedding there and everything was great a side from a side from a few things. The doors to the Little Creek room do not lock because they are broken. We had sound equipment set up and were told the room would be locked over night so everything would be safe but that was not at all true. Luckily the women at the front desk were willing to run to Walmart and bought cables and locks so that our stuff would be safe.
The other problem was that we had a buffet but were told we could have plated pasta for the vegetarian guests, when it was time for dinner our guest did not receive their plated meals which was very disappointing because I had told them all that they would be getting it. The final problem was that one of my bridesmaids stayed over night and the day they checked in they did not have hot water, they ran the water for 30 minutes trying to get hot water with no luck. The staff then told them it would reset in the morning, however they once again had no hot water.
While I was pleased with the communication that I had with our wedding coordinator, Judy, I was very disappointment that my guest didn't receive the service they deserved, especially after all of the money we spent to have both our ceremony and reception there, along with all the service we brought in with many of our guest staying over night. On the up side, the food was great, the staff was helpful when needed and the price for decent.
I am a big believer in following through, so if my guest would have received their plated vegetarian pasta, if the doors would have locked and if the guest would have had hot water I would have given them a five star review.

I am happy to hear you enjoyed your wedding and am very sorry for the issues you encountered. We do periodically have issues with the ballroom door locks and try to stay on top of them. I apologize they were not working on the day of your wedding.
There was a miscommunication on our part regarding the vegetarian meals. We have since addressed this issue and will hopefully not have this problem again.
I hate to have to say we also had a communication issue with the hot water in the guest room you mentioned. There is a part that occasionally goes bad in the shower faucets. It is a quick 5 minute repair, if the proper person is told of the problem. Again I apologize and we have addressed the issue with the front desk staff.
Hopefully we will have another opportunity to serve you and provide the superior customer service you deserve.
