Very clean rooms and very friendly staff, if you have pets they watch the cameras and they will know.

Super 8 at St Charles is conveniently located to a number of things: For instance downtown St Charles is at walking distance. Also a plaza with all the big retail stores and brand names restaurants is 1-2 miles away from there. Fermilab is also close (just 7 miles). The hotel is operated by an indian family. The hotel people are friendly and sympathetic. The room was fine even though I stayed there only for sleeping. I was staying at the second floor but I could hear the footsteps of the the person from the room above me. So, if you plan to stay there ask for third floor (this is the uppermost floor). High speed wireless internet available at room. The breakfast was fine, too. Of course just the basics:bagels, coffee...No fruits. Hotel web page is misleading on distances. So be aware of that. Multiply those number by a factor of three or four!

Wonderful Clean Room ( I got the suite for the price of a room - ahem !) fridge, micro, and LOTS OF SPACE !! King Size bed and free breakfast - surely the best deal in St Charles ( with the other hotels charging $ 100 + night or MORE!) Would do it again in a heartbeat!!

WOW! Nice clean hotel - Very impressed with the helpful staff, they went out of their way to find me a phone charger ( I forgot mine at home!)- Recommended!!!
