First, let me say this hotel is very nice. Several restaurants nearby, a shuttle, and right next to Allstate Arena, which is why we chose it. Free Internet, the rooms are well-furnished and clean, free parking near O'Hare, but you can hear absolutely everything. Several other reviews state this is a quiet hotel. I don't know where these people stayed. I had a ground floor room and could hear people walking around upstairs all night, conversations in the room next door, bathroom fans that sound like a garbage disposal going on and off at all hours. The heat blower is also incredibly loud. I travel frequently and this is probably one of the worst night's sleep I have had in years. I normally love Marriott, and in particular Residence Inn, but this one appears to be cheaply constructed.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and VERY convenient to ORD. It also has quick dining options close. However there was a "questionable" looking apartment complex right behind the hotel and I didn't feel all that secure in the parking lot at night, as my building was 3 buildings away from the main lobby and there was no gate between the apartments and the hotel. I didn't have any problems, and otherwise my room was clean and comfortable-typical of a Residence Inn. I don't know that there anything they can do about the location, they can't pick the complex up and move it, but I didn't like that. Also, if you are going to take the shuttle-which is also VERY convenient for getting downtown (via ORD), plan on leaving at least an hour and a half early. The shuttle is supposed to run every 30 mins, but when I took it, it was closer to running every 45-50 minutes. Be prepared to wait.

Rooms are newer style, large with couch, flat screen TV, desk and queen bed. Rooms and bath were very clean, bed comfortable.
Above average breakfast but tight quarters. Need larger lobby with sitting areas like most Residence Inns.
Big plus the shuttle will take you to nearby restaurants and attractions for no charge!

I have stayed at this property 3 times now in the last 3 months and have found it to be very clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again. It is near Target and several chain restaurants and out of the bustle of the city. It is also within walking distance to a nice park for a morning walk or jog.
