Had the pleasure of staying in this fine hotel when I took a voluntary bump from United on the way from NRT to TPA and the whole experience was a joy thanks in no small part to one of the poshest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Huge comfy bed, big hi-def TV w/multiple free HBO channels, in room safe, great curved shower, nice bar & restaurant, friendly staff. Was a bit of a drive in a packed and not so comfortable shuttle but well worth it for such a good night's sleep.

We booked thru' Stay123 - we decided to do something new -- we are usually Park n' Fly and the Hyatt Regency folks. 'dis ain't the Hyatt. The room was beautiful and clean and the people were very nice - but the Hyatt is cheaper at Park n' Fly and EVERYTHING is top-shelf, especially the staff and how guests are accomodated. We arrived and there was an event that completely closed down the parking lot - and we stayed there for the parking ... and the shuttle. For the 4:30am shuttle we were in the lobby by 4:12am and we were second to last to get on. The driver told us the bus holds 21 guests and there is no standing allowed - so if you do not make the "cut," you'd better get a cab because it will be another 30 mins before the next shuttle. You wouldn't have thought we had weather issues at ORD, but to be fair, apparently that was the problem this morning. The bottom line is that we didn't feel the hotel has the guest's best interest at heart - despite the beautiful room. Dollar for dollar - the Hyatt is head and shoulders above the Crowne Plaza - the parking (no wandering thru' the freezing uncovered lot toward the entrance at the Hyatt AND the Hyatt always had an attendant to help you ... not so at the Crowne) the staff (Hyatt is over the top professional and gracious) no nit picky extras (really Crowne? $12.95 for 24 hrs of internet - Holiday Inn Express is free!) Oh how we wanted to have two favorites at ORD -- but Hyatt wins hands down.

Very nice room , comfortable, updated tastefully, friendly staff. We stayed for the Park and Fly option. Early morning flight at O'Hare. Shuttle ran late and was full. Took driver a very long time to load luggage accorrding to drop of terminal. Take earlier shuttle than you think you need. Free parking is outside in adjacent building. Would stay again if I don't need airport shuttle.

And now it looks even better! I attended a Chicago Tardis Convention (Doctor Who Fan Event) back in 2007, and the hotel was as near perfect as one could hope for. Great, clean rooms, access to breakfast, lunch and dinner, a nice fitness center, and an excellent, professional staff made my stay a memorable one. I'm returning for at least one day in 2012 for a Chicago Flashback Weekend Convention (Horror Film Genre) and hope to work it into my budget to stay a night. Simply one of the absolute best hotels I've ever experienced.
