When we checked in, we were told that there was only one of the two rooms we had reserved that were available and they were sold out. We could have one "suite" for the same price as the two king rooms we had reserved. While I was considering my options, two other people came in and were told they were sold out as was everyone in town and that they should go another 20 miles up the Interstate to maybe find a room so I took the "suite" which was a queen bed with a hide a bed in the same room. With the hide a bed open, the room was very crowded but we made do.
The staff were nice about it and were quick to get us extra blankets but the stay was just kind of uncomfortable. The floor was a little on the dirty side and looked like it had not had a carpet cleaner over it in some time. The pillows were pretty flat so even with three of them it was still flat. Breakfast was good but the area for it was in the lobby and very crowded and very busy between people checking out and getting to tables to eat.
I guess I have come to expect more from the Comfort Inn chain than what this facility offered. Plus, until I get my next credit card bill, I won't know if I got my credit through Hotels.com or not for the second room. If not, I will post it.

On my way to Minnesota stopes here for the night I was really tired and a lot of other places in town were booked they had 3 room avaiable so I booked.

Guy at the front desk was great he call restaurant next door to see if we could park our truck in their lot as there was no parking left at hotel. He told us of a good place for pizza.

The air worked great and room was quiet but that's were the good stuff ended. The carpet I'd very worn and dirty as was the carpet in my room. The in room fridge I opened and it stunk so bad on further inspection it was full of mold. Mold in shower. Went to plug in my phone and saw years of dust literally behind end table. I would have checked out if I could have found another hotel with 3 room avaiable at that time of night.

Just plain yucky and worn out .

My hubby and I have stayed at this hotel in the past and enjoyed the free breakfast. It took a couple of visits to realize that the early bird gets the doughnut. I usually carry an alarm clock but on this viisit I forgot it and asked for a wake up call. We never received the wake up call and got down to the breakfast area at 8:15. All that was left was doughnuts,make-your-own waffles, tiny muffins, cold cereal, (all of the carbs) coffee and a few sausages.(I don't eat meat) The juice machine was broken. The fruit and all of the boiled eggs were gone. supposedly breakfast is served between 6 & 9 AM. The clerk apologized profusely about our not getting a wake up call and offered to add extra Choice points to our account but who knows how that works and when we'll be able to take advantage of it. We may consider getting a different hotel next time.

I call to make reservation told me the total is 145 with tax included. So i deposit 148 on my debit card. I get there gave the lady my card she told me its declined. So i call to find out why. So instead of the 145 i was told it was 160 that they was charging me. So i had to pay with cash which is fine but it was embarrassing to get decline when i know i had deposit enough money for the room. So i was not very happy about that. Room was ok the tub and shower head had mold on in. The bathroom is very small. From 4 am til 6 am the phone kept ringing every 20 mins. I call to attendant to see whats going on. He had no idea. So i dont know if its haunted or what. The pool was nice to have even though it was a bit cloudy. Location is great but i wouldnt stay there again because there is several other hotels around which is cheaper.
